Bronze Desert In Southwest Texas, about 50 miles north of Great Bend National Park near the intersection of hwy 385 and hwy 90, lies this impressive view. It is a region of high plateaus, broad cuestas, rugged mountains, and gently sloping intermountain plains. Very little vegetation is present except in sheltered valleys and on the higher summits. With such spars vegetation, there is an uncluttered view of the bedrock geology. The broad range of exposed Limestone, Sandstone, Shale, and Chert layers that produce the colors visible in this image. This image was acquired by the Landsat ETM satellite in November of 2000, and is centered at 30.11.15 degrees north latitude, 103.16.12 degrees west longitude. The print comes mounted on quality stretcher bars using a gallery style wrap (image wraps around the side) so that framing is optional. 22 x 16 inches = $75.00 32 x 22 inches = $140.00 contact TFI for different print size options and costs Actual print resolution is better than these graphics, see a full resolution sample |
